ATU Representatives Earn Miss Arkansas Scholarships

Four members of Arkansas Tech University’s delegation to Miss Arkansas 2024 and Miss Arkansas’ Teen 2024 earned scholarships during the final round of competition June 14-15 at the Robinson Center in Little Rock.

Incoming ATU freshman Sophie Puckett of Jonesboro was fourth runner-up in Miss Arkansas’ Teen and received a $2,500 scholarship.

ATU alumna Sophe Sligh of Hot Springs finished top 15 in the Miss Arkansas pageant and earned a $2,000 scholarship.

Another Arkansas Tech graduate, Kristin Hardy of Benton, collected $1,500 in scholarships for winning the Toni and David F. Rankin Overall Instrumentalist Award and the Mary Jane Mullins Non-Finalist Interview Award.

Miss Arkansas Tech University 2024 Kate Manuel of Green Forest won the Gaye Montgomery Spirit of Arkansas Award and a $1,000 scholarship.

Arkansas Tech was also represented in the Miss Arkansas pageant by current students Hannah Lomax of Russellville, Olivia McNeese of Lamar and Faith Tooke of Warren.
