The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley and the volunteer committee of Mistletoe Market will present the 10th annual Mistletoe Market on Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4, at the L.V. Williamson Boys and Girls Club in Russellville.
The holiday shopping event, which will last from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at 600 East 16th Street in Russellville, will offer an array of merchants’ gift items under one roof. Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley.
“We added more merchant space and sold out this year,” said Angela Bonds, Mistletoe Market committee member. “We are excited to have a full gym and lobby with lots of great items for purchase this year. Sixty vendors will be at Mistletoe this year.”
Gift items and merchandise will include art, beauty products, clothing, fall and holiday items, home décor, baby items, jewelry, items for men, food and other gifts of all kinds. A $5 donation at the door is requested of all shoppers. The donation will entitle the individual to a two-day shopping pass for Friday and Saturday.
A preview party will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets for this event are available at $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. The party will include food, wine samples from Post Winery and first chance at shopping the market. Preview party tickets may be purchased in advance at the L.V. Williamson Boys and Girls Club or from any Mistletoe Market committee member.
“We extended the shopping hours for the preview party and merchants will be offering discounts for the party only,” said Bonds.
Shoppers who spend $125 total with Mistletoe Market merchants will qualify for the First State Bank “Dash for Cash” $500 prize. This is only for the first 50 shoppers who turn in receipts totaling $125 or more.
A raffle and silent auction will also be offered. Two raffle items, including a David Yurman bracelet valued at $1,650 donated from Sissy’s Log Cabin and a $500 Visa gift card donated by Lieblong Eye Clinic and Drs. Johnston and Richardson, will be given away on Saturday. Attendees will have a chance to bid on more than 50 silent auction items.
Supervised kids activities, sponsored by Junior Auxiliary of Russellville’s Crown Club, will be available for shoppers on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Area teachers get free admission on Friday or Saturday with a valid teacher identification card.
