Fundraising for the benefit of Arkansas Tech University yielded more than $12.5 million in gifts and pledges during the 2021-22 fiscal year.
“Private support is an essential element in providing Arkansas Tech University students with the academic and personal growth opportunities they seek and need,” said Dr. Robin E. Bowen, ATU president. “I extend my personal appreciation to each individual and entity who made an investment in Arkansas Tech and its students during the 2021-22 fiscal year. Your expression of confidence in our vision and mission is a meaningful affirmation of the quality of ATU’s programs and services.”
Arkansas Tech alumni and friends donated and pledged $12,526,143.62 to the ATU Foundation from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. Annual gifts and pledges to the ATU Foundation have more than doubled since 2018-19.
“Each gift to the ATU Foundation makes an authentic difference in the educational experience for our students,” said Jason Geiken, ATU vice president for advancement. “Our advancement team is inspired on a daily basis by the alumni, friends and organizations who express alignment with Arkansas Tech’s mission and a desire to help us pursue our vision of student success, innovation and community engagement. As we begin the implementation phase of the ATU 2025 strategic plan this fall, there will be new opportunities to partner with those who have an affinity for Arkansas Tech and an appreciation of its role as a place of opportunity. We look forward to enhancing existing partnerships and building new ones.”
