The nationally 19th-ranked Bisons (7-1 overall, 5-1 Great American Conference) had 593 yards of total offense, including 505 rushing yards.
Harding scored the game’s first 34 points. The Wonder Boys rallied with 16 second-quarter points on a 14-yard Tanner Marsh touchdown pass to James Jackson, a 22-yard Trevor Pinkston field goal and a 6-yard touchdown run by Tavadrick Lee.
The momentum swung back permanently in Harding’s favor on Kelvin Martin’s 5-yard touchdown run with 54 seconds left in the second quarter. The Bisons led 41-16 at halftime and pulled away by scoring the first 28 points of the second half.
Arkansas Tech committed six turnovers in the loss.
The Wonder Boys (5-4, 3-3) will play their final home game of the 2012 season when they host East Central University for a 2 p.m. GAC contest at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field on Saturday, Nov. 3.
