Courtney Jill Thurman of Fort Smith has been selected as one of 28 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2010 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Thurman has held membership in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry, the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Golden Girls dance team during her time at Arkansas Tech.
A member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, Thurman received a university scholarship at Tech.
Daughter of Cindy and Dennis Thurman of Fort Smith, Thurman will graduate from Tech in May 2010. She is majoring in math education.
