Jessica Leigh Betterton of Alma has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Betterton has been a member of the Arkansas Tech Marching Band color guard, the forensics program and Gamma Sigma Alpha during her undergraduate experience.
A member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, Betterton was treasurer for Caraway Hall government, a resident assistant for the Arkansas Tech Office of Residence Life and a mathematics tutor.
Daughter of Lynn and Scott Betterton of Galena, Alaska, Betterton will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a degree in math education in May.
