SignATUre Weekend of Giving, an annual fund-raising effort led by the Arkansas Tech University Division of Advancement in support of the Arkansas Tech University Foundation, established new records for number of donors and amount of money raised in 2019.
A total of 790 alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends of the institution donated or pledged $133,365 during the four-day event as part of the 2019 Homecoming celebration at Arkansas Tech.
Donors were able to designated their gift to benefit the Fight On Fund, the College of Business, the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the ATU marching band, the ATU choirs, the College of Education, the College of eTech, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Kappa Alpha Order Scholarship or ATU-Ozark Campus.
One of the outcomes of the 2019 SignATUre Weekend of Giving was the establishment of two new scholarships for ATU students.
This marked the fifth consecutive year in which ATU has conducted a SignATUre Weekend of Giving.
