Arkansas Tech University young alumni will be hitting the ice in the Little Rock later this month for an afternoon of visiting and ice skating.
Young alumni and their families will gather at the Arkansas Skatium to ice skate on Saturday, January 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Alison Parks, coordinator of young alumni, says she has high hopes for the event. She adds, “This is a new event for young alumni at Arkansas Tech. Since many young alumni have families, we wanted to have an event that allows them to connect with other alumni while providing a fun environment for the whole family.”
Parks says while the event is designed for young alumni, all Tech graduates are welcome to attend.
The cost to skate is $9 per person, but pre-registration is required to receive the discounted rate. The deadline to pre-register is Wednesday, January 26, and alumni can pre-register by visiting the Office of Alumni website.
