Students planning to enter the Miss Tech pageant will be able to learn more about the pageant tonight. Miss Tech 2009 Naomi Shure (photographed left) is hosting a pageant workshop to help students prepare for the pageant.
Shure will be meeting with potential contestants at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center.
During the session, those planning to enter the pageant will be able to ask questions about how the pageant works and the best ways to prepare.
Shure says she’ll also be helping the ladies fill out the paperwork that is required to enter the pageant. Forms to enter the pageant are available here.
The 55 th Miss Tech pageant will be held on Friday, February 26, in the Witherspoon Building Auditorium.
The winner of the Miss Tech pageant will receive a two-semester tuition scholarship to Arkansas Tech and will represent Tech at Miss Arkansas this summer in Hot Springs.
Arkansas Tech student Hannah Williamson will join Miss Tech at the Miss Arkansas pageant. Williamson was crowned Miss Arkansas Valley last July.
