The Golden Gates Russian Dance, Instrumental and Singing Ensemble will return to the River Valley for a concert. The group will perform at Gardner Auditorium on Thursday, and the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The cost to attend the performance is $5 for those ages 19 and older, $1 for those ages 6-18 and free for children under five. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.
Organizers say the concert is family-friendly and will include “songs, rituals, folk stories and games” that provide insight into the Russian culture.
The Golden Gates were created in 1993 and have performed at festivals and concerts throughout Europe. The group has received numerous awards and is recognized as an “ambassador of the Russian folk culture.”
