The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys and Golden Suns are still undefeated at home after beating Ouachita Baptist Thursday evening.
Prior to Thursday’s games, the Student Government Association, the Student Activities Board and the Residence Hall Association hosted a pep rally outside Tucker Coliseum.
The win means the Wonder Boys matched the best start in school history, as they tied the mark set by the 1952-53 team that won its first 24 games. The Wonder Boys improve to 24-0, and they are 11-0 in conference action.
The Golden Suns are now 23-1, and they are 10-1 in conference play.
Both teams will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Cleveland, Mississippi, to face Delta State.
