The Arkansas Tech campus is undergoing a campus beautification effort thanks to two longtime Arkansas Tech supporters.
Through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, extensive tree planting is occurring on campus this week. The work is being conducted with private funds contributed by Mr. and Mrs. Norman.
The trees are from Select Trees of Athens, Georgia, and they are scientifically reproduced for their genetic qualities and sustainability. Learn more about Select Trees.
The plantings are being conducted according to an architectural landscape plan produced by AMR Architecture of Little Rock.
“Robert and Sandra Norman are longtime supporters of Arkansas Tech, especially in the areas of the arts, landscaping and athletics,” said Dr. Robert C. Brown, president of Arkansas Tech University. “We are grateful to them for enabling us to begin these campus improvements.”
