Arkansas Tech University student Darren Drone is in the Spa City this week. Drone, a sophomore music education major, is performing in the Miss Arkansas Court.
Drone is a native of North Little Rock, and he is one of two students from across the state selected to perform as special entertainment at the pageant.
Throughout the week, Drone is performing several numbers each evening as part of the entertainment for those in attendance.
Pageant officials say this is the first time Drone has been selected to appear in the Miss Arkansas Court, but he is no stranger to the stage. Drone also competed in the Arkansas Tech Idol this past year.
