High school students from across the state will be at Arkansas Tech University on Tuesday for the District V Future Business Leaders of America Conference.
The conference is taking place at Tucker Coliseum next Tuesday and registration begins at 8 a.m.
This year’s theme is “Breaking Barriers.” High school students will compete in Battle of the Chapters and a cover design competition.
The FBLA is a national vocational student organization for students in high schools and middle schools who are interested in business or business education careers. Learn more about FBLA.
Dr. Linda Bean, associate professor of business, is helping to coordinate the conference and says it’s run by the FBLA officers. She adds, “This conference gives the students the chance to develop their leadership skills by leading the entire conference.”
