Zeta Tau Alpha and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center are teaming up to present “Spit for the Cure” to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The event includes a free luncheon to hear a speech from Director of Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Dr. Suzanne Kimberg.
Additionally, the “Spit for the Cure” research team will be located on the East Chambers Lawn from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. to collect saliva samples to use for research.
The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26 at noon in the Chambers East Dining Hall. The event is free but seating is limited.
