The Arkansas Tech Alumni Office is currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Alumni Association Scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to entering freshmen who have at least one parent who attended Arkansas Tech University.
Students who wish to apply for the scholarships must have a high school grade point average of 3.20, and they must have scored at least a 21 on the ACT. Additionally, students applying for the scholarship must submit an essay about why they decided to attend Arkansas Tech University.
The number of scholarships awarded varies annually, but last year there were 8 scholarships awarded to entering freshmen. The scholarships are partially funded through the purchase and renewal of Arkansas Tech license plates.
Students wishing to apply must complete the application process, and application materials must be postmarked by March 15. See the full list of requirements to apply for the scholarship.
