Meagan Nicole Rivera of Cabot has been selected as one of 29 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
Rivera has served as president and as treasurer of the Chemistry Club at Arkansas Tech. She has also held membership in the Pre-Med Club.
A member of the Dean’s List in multiple semesters, Rivera was named analytical chemist of the year at Arkansas Tech in spring 2010. Rivera’s parents are Autumn and Tim Rivera of Cabot and April Walker of Dardanelle. She is majoring in chemistry with a minor in pre-pharmacy. Rivera will graduate from Arkansas Tech in May 2011.
