Thousands of college students throughout the country understand the issues facing the government today and are mobilizing to find solutions to long-debated political topics.
Two informational meetings for students interested in learning more about Model United Nations (Model UN) will be held this week. The first will be on Tuesday and the second will be on Thursday. Both will begin at 12:30 p.m. in Rothwell Hall Room 221.
This year, Arkansas Tech Model UN hopes to participate in two simulation events, including a conference hosted at Arkansas Tech and the Model Arab League in Little Rock.
Arkansas Tech students brought back the Model UN program last fall, and the group looks forward to beginning its second year back on campus.
Model UN is an organization that allows students to organize and debate about current issues at meetings, conferences and events.
