Registration for the 2012 Arkansas Tech University Hoops for Heart 3-on-3 basketball tournament to benefit the American Heart Association will begin on Monday, April 2.
Hoops for Heart will take place on Thursday, April 12, at Tucker Coliseum. Games in the 3-on-3 tournament will begin at 1 p.m., while mini-games (including a half-court shot competition, a 3-point contest and a slam dunk contest) will begin at 3 p.m.
Cost for the 3-on-3 tournament is $20 per team for groups that register before the day of the event. Cost to register on April 12 will be $25 per team.
Individuals entered in the 3-on-3 tournament can participate in the mini-games for $1 per event.
Persons interested in just competing in the mini-games can do so at a rate of $3 for one event, $5 for two events or $6 for three events.
Early registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 2, and last through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10.
Those wishing to register in advance can visit Dr. Rockie Pederson’s office in Hull Building room 109 to submit their registration form and pay their entry fees.
Those wishing to register the day of the event can do so at Tucker Coliseum from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12.
