Kala Lee Burgener of Morrilton has been selected as one of 36 representatives from Arkansas Tech University in the 2012 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
Burgener has served as secretary of the Pre-Med Club and as a member of the Student Government Association and Tri Beta during her time at Arkansas Tech. She has volunteered at campus blood drives, aided in Homecoming planning and earned a spot on the Dean’s List.
Daughter of Lisa and Willie Burgener of Solgohachia, Burgener will graduate from Arkansas Tech with a degree in biology in May.
