Free tickets are still available for students to attend Arkansas Tech’s annual spring concert featuring 3OH!3.
Additionally, tickets are still available for the public to purchase. Only a limited number of floor tickets are still available, so those wishing to be on the floor during the concert should purchase tickets as soon as possible.
To obtain a ticket, go to the Information Booth in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building, located on the Arkansas Tech campus across from Tucker Coliseum.
All tickets cost $15 each. Only cash or check will be accepted. Students must present a valid Tech I.D. to obtain a free ticket. Free tickets are limited to one per student.
The concert is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, at Tucker Coliseum on the Arkansas Tech campus.
Jenny Butler, coordinator of student activities and orientation, says SAB is excited to have 3OH!3 on the Tech campus this spring. She adds, “I think this is a group that students will enjoy, and I hope students will take advantage of the opportunity to see this group at no cost by getting a free student ticket.”
The group says their music is all about having fun. In 2009, 3OH!3 was nominated for “Best New Artist” alongside Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi, and Drake, at the 2009 Video Music Awards.
The group signed with Photo Finish Records after their first album in 2007 and immediately began working on a second album. Their album, Want, was released in 2009 and features songs like “Don’t Trust Me,” and “Starstrukk.”
For their second album, Streets of Gold, the group worked with a variety of industry leaders to produce hits such as “My First Kiss,” and “Hit it Again.”
The duo is currently working on their fourth album in their native state of Colorado.
The event is hosted by Student Activities Board. To find out more about the concert, email Jenny Butler at jbutler1@atu.edu.
