The Pre-Med Club at Arkansas Tech is hosting “Change the World, One Step at a Time” 5K Walk/Run this weekend to raise funding for special projects.
Proceeds from the event will aid in purchasing automated external defibrillators to install in buildings on campus and supplement educational funding.
The 5K will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. on the Arkansas Tech campus. The event will begin at Tucker Coliseum and the route will encompass the perimeter of campus.
Students and the Russellville community are invited to participate. On-site registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is $15 for students and $20 for non-students. Children under the age of 12 may walk for free.
