Arkansas Tech students, alumni and friends will have an opportunity to showcase their Arkansas Tech spirit in hopes of winning prizes at several home football games this fall.
The Tech family will be able to show their Tech pride by posing on the green carpet during five of the tailgate parties. Participants are encouraged to don their best green and gold attire, and Arkansas Tech will have green and gold accessories for those wishing to enhance their attire.
Photos from the green carpet will be divided into a current student and future student category. The photos will be placed on the Arkansas Tech Facebook page the Monday after each game, and the photo in each category with the most likes at the end of the week will win a $50 gift certificate to the Arkansas Tech Bookstore.
The green carpet will take place at the following games:
- September 1
- September 6
- September 15
- September 29
- October 20
Organizers say they hope to see lots of participants in their green and gold walking the green carpet before football games and then helping cheer the Wonder Boys to victory.
