Former Arkansas Tech University College of Business staff member Dana Florian has been hired as the new director of career services in the Arkansas Tech Office of Student Services.
The Arkansas Tech Board of Trustees appointed Florian to the post effective Sept. 1.
A 2009 graduate of Arkansas Tech, Florian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in management and marketing. She added a Master of Science degree in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech in 2011.
That same year saw Florian join the Arkansas Tech College of Business College to Career Center, where she served as marketing and public relations specialist.
In her new role, Florian will help Arkansas Tech students and graduates identify and prepare for career opportunities under the auspices of the Norman Career Services office.
According to the Norman Career Services Web page, the office is “dedicated to assisting students with finding a major or career based upon interests, values, and aptitudes” and to “developing Arkansas Tech students by teaching the skills necessary to transform their field of study into a career.”
