Tech Students Compete for Miss Arkansas Crown

Four Arkansas Tech University students are in Hot Springs this week to compete for the title of Miss Arkansas. The students with connections to Arkansas Tech include (from left to right):

• Miss Arkansas Tech University – Haven Brock
• Miss North Central – Brooklyn Woodworth
• Miss Johnson County – Carly Copeland
• Miss Arkansas River – Logan Moore

The contestants arrived in Hot Springs on Sunday and will begin preliminary competition on Wednesday. The final round of competition is set for Saturday evening. Miss Arkansas is an official preliminary to the Miss America pageant. The Miss America Organization leads the country in providing scholarships to women.
