Members of the Arkansas Tech adjunct faculty met Tuesday evening to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
The group met at the Lake Point Conference Center for dinner.
As part of the meeting, Dr. Robin E. Bowen, president of Arkansas Tech, thanked the adjunct faculty for their service to the university and reminded the adjunct faculty of their impact in the classroom.
Additionally, the adjunct faculty learned of new professional development opportunities available through the Arkansas Tech Center for Excellence in Teaching.
Organizers say the annual meeting provides a relaxed atmosphere for adjuncts to interact with other adjuncts and their respective department chairs.
