Campus recreation opportunities available for students will be on full display Wednesday evening during the annual Watermelon Fest. The event is taking place at 9 p.m. at the campus recreation fields. During the evening, students will enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including baggo, disc golf, ultimate Frisbee, birdie golf and flag football. As part of the festivities, students will also be able to compete in a watermelon “seed spitting competition” to win prizes. The annual event is one of several taking place as part of Welcome Week at Arkansas Tech University.
