ASBTDC Announces January Seminars

Throughout the month of January local small businesses will have the opportunity to attend several hands on training sessions on business operations hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) regional office at Arkansas Tech University.

The workshops will cover many topics including business creation, management and operation.

The regional office of ASBTDC at Arkansas Tech is designed to assist new, existing and expanding businesses by offering a variety of services including consulting, training and market research. Primary areas of assistance include planning, online and traditional marketing and financial analysis.

The following seminars will be offered in January:

  • QuickBooks for Beginners – Thursday, Jan. 28, 9 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University. Cost is $65.
  • QuickBooks Day-to-Day Basics – Thursday, Jan. 28, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at Arkansas Tech University. Cost is $65.

Computers will be provided at each session.

Due to space availability, students, faculty and staff may attend the workshops at no cost.

Along with business workshops, ASBTDC will also be offering a series of free online seminars that will be led by ASBTDC staff and business professionals.
