Assessment Academy to Debut This Spring

Faculty and staff at Arkansas Tech University will be offered a professional development opportunity in the realm of assessment during the spring 2016 semester.

The Arkansas Tech Office of Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness (OAIE) will host a series of workshops collectively entitled Assessment Academy.

According to information from the OAIE, the sessions are “designed to assist (faculty and staff) in making sense of this essential task of higher education.”

Below are the dates, times and locations for each of the Assessment Academy workshops:

  • The Basics, Friday, Feb. 5, 9-10 a.m., Baswell Techionery room 202
  • Student Learning Outcomes, Friday, Feb. 19, 9-10 a.m., Baswell Techionery room 202
  • Assessment Planning, Friday, March 4, 9-10 a.m., Baswell Techionery room 202
  • Methods and Measurements, Friday, March 18, 9-10 a.m., Rothwell Hall room 308
  • Analyzing and Interpreting the Data, Friday, April 1, 9-10 a.m., Rothwell Hall room 308
  • Using the Data, Friday, April 15, 9-10 a.m., Baswell Techionery room 202
