Arkansas Tech University students will have an opportunity to visit with potential employers during three upcoming career fairs hosted by Norman Career Services.
The first fair is set for Tuesday, February 23. This fair is the general spring fair, and it will feature more than 80 employers seeking candidates from all majors students. The fair will run from 1-4 p.m. in Tucker Coliseum.
On Wednesday, February 24, a special fair is planned for those interested in engineering and technology fields. Wednesday’s fair will run from 1-4 p.m. in the Young Ballroom.
The final fair for the semester is an educator fair, and it is planned for Thursday, February 24. The fair will take place from 9 a.m.-noon in the Young Ballroom, and representatives for several area school districts will be on hand to visit with Tech students.
Organizers say all companies attending the fair are looking to hire for full-time, part-time and internships.
Students taking part in the fairs should wear business attire and have resumes to distribute to interested companies.
Students signing up and attending the fairs will be entered to win an iPad Mini, and one will be given away at each fair.
