Arkansas Tech University student Patrice Biittner was recognized by the Arkansas Women Band Directors Association.
Biittner is studying music education at Arkansas Tech and received the Bankie Holley Memorial Scholarship during the Arkansas Music Conference – All-State Clinic last month.
Involved in several music groups at Arkansas Tech, Biittner plays the saxophone.
