Arkansas Tech University students will showcase their musical talents during Homecoming week festivities during the annual Tech Idol competition.
Following auditions, the Office of Residence Life has announced the following 12 students have been selected to compete in the 2016 competition:

- Abbie Bostian
- Paxton Goates
- Qassye Hall
- Jordan Ladyman
- Cierra Martin
- Caleb Miller
- Quazar Rone
- Jordan Sanders
- Natosha Shirley
- Kelsey Stone
- Joshua Van Devender
The students selected will sing in the preliminaries at Tucker Coliseum on Tuesday, October 25 at 8 p.m.
Students attending the preliminaries will vote for their favorites and select the top six that will compete on Friday, Oct. 28 for the title.
Tech Idol is presented by the Arkansas Tech Office of Residence Life and the Arkansas Tech Residence Hall Association and is part of Homecoming Week festivities at Arkansas Tech.
