The annual “Fall Fest” event is set for Thursday, Oct. 13, and promises to have fun for all ages. The festivities, which are hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA), will be held from 3-5 p.m. outside the Student Services Conference Center located at 1700 Helberg Lane in Ozark.
“Fall fest is a wonderful event that helps to personally connect our students with the community,” SGA advisor Angie Cox said. “One of the highlights of the event is seeing so many happy faces and seeing the members of the community come out and have a great time while showing support for our campus.”
This event is free and open to the public; however, SGA has requested participants bring one canned good or non-perishable item to be donated to the community food bank.
Candy for trick-or-treaters will be given out on a first come, first served basis. There will be popcorn, concessions, hotdogs, face-painting, bounce-arounds, inflatables, games, prizes and more.
Several academic programs and student organizations will be participating in the second annual “Fall Fest Chili Cook-off” and will have tasting samples available.
For more information or to enter the chili cook-off, contact SGA Advisor Angie Cox in Student Services at (479) 508-3369.
