Arkansas Tech University suffered a pair of narrow home defeats in Great American Conference volleyball at Tucker Coliseum in Russellville over the weekend.
Oklahoma Baptist University defeated the Golden Suns 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 20-25, 15-9 on Friday night.
Southern Nazarene University followed with a 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 27-29, 16-14 victory over Arkansas Tech on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Suns (15-10 overall, 7-4 GAC) are now tied for fourth place in the league standings, one match behind Ouachita Baptist University (16-5, 8-3), Harding University (17-6, 8-3) and Oklahoma Baptist (14-11, 8-3).
Arkansas Tech will host a pair of non-conference matches at Tucker Coliseum on Tuesday, Oct. 25. The Golden Suns will face Central Baptist College at 1 p.m. and Lyon College at 5 p.m. Admission will be free.
