Dr. Rebecca T. Garvin, assistant professor of English, will offer a lecture entitled “A Linguistic Landscape Revisited: A Longitudinal Study of the Transformations of the LL in Markham, Canada, from 2003-2013” on Friday, Feb. 17, as part of the Arkansas Tech University Interdisciplinary Research Series.
Garvin’s presentation will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall room 134.
A member of the ATU faculty since 2013, Garvin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Blue Mountain College, a Master of Arts degree from Murray State University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
