Arkansas Tech University finished eighth among a field of 12 cross country teams at the University of Central Oklahoma Land Run in Edmond, Okla., on Saturday.
Aubre Gilreath was the Golden Suns’ top individual performer. She completed the 5-kilometer course in 20 minutes, 9.37 seconds to earn a 28th-place finish.
Cami Hedstrom (40th, 20:32.60), Mallory Morris (41st, 20:35.86), Halle Gilreath (43rd, 20:46.27), Lauryn Doublet (61st, 21:43.15), Logan Edwards (65th, 21:50.18) and Amanda Thompson (82nd, 28:12.07) also represented Arkansas Tech in the meet.
The Golden Suns will run in the University of Central Arkansas Cross Country Challenge in Conway on Saturday, Sept. 9.
