Arkansas Tech University dispatched a group of 12 students and one full-time staff member to Houston, Texas, for the 2018 Alternative Spring Break trip sponsored by the ATU Office of Campus Life.
Alternative Spring Break is an annual service program that provides Tech students with an opportunity to volunteer with a variety of agencies and learn more about an American city.
While in Houston, the ATU students volunteered at Emergency Aid Coalition, The Women’s Home, the Nehemiah Center, Houston Pet Alive, Bread of Life, Inc. and the Children’s Museum of Houston. They also toured the University of Houston.
