Party at the Plaza, the tailgating celebration outside Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field before every Arkansas Tech University home football game, will return to Centennial Plaza for an 11th consecutive season.
Open to all fans and family friendly, Party at the Plaza provides an opportunity for Wonder Boys’ fans to gather, eat, listen to music and prepare for kickoff.
Arkansas Tech will play five home football games in 2018, all of which are Great American Conference contests. The Wonder Boys, who were 8-4 overall last year, are seeking their fourth consecutive winning season.
Party at the Plaza dates in 2018 are:
- Sept. 8, Tech vs. Henderson State, 6 p.m. kickoff, 4 p.m. tailgating
- Sept. 22, Tech vs. Southern Nazarene, 6 p.m. kickoff, 3 p.m. tailgating (Family Day)
- Oct. 6, Tech vs. Arkansas-Monticello, 6 p.m. kickoff, 4 p.m. tailgating
- Oct. 20, Tech vs. Southwestern Okla. State, 2 p.m. kickoff, 11 a.m. tailgating (Homecoming)
- Nov. 3, Tech vs. East Central, 2 p.m. kickoff, noon tailgating
Game tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children. Those under age 5 are admitted free. Those with a valid Tech identification card are also admitted free.
