Hispanic Heritage Month 2018 at Arkansas Tech University will begin with a kickoff event at Hindsman Tower on Thursday, Sept. 13.
The celebration will last from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Representatives from Hispanic student organizations will be on hand and stories recognizing Hispanic culture will be shared. Entertainment will be provided by a student mariachi band.
The Hispanic Heritage Month 2018 kickoff event is sponsored by the ATU Department of Diversity and Inclusion. It is an On Track event on the Global Focus track.
