In an effort to help promote better health, the Arkansas Tech University Office of Human Resources has invited the Arkansas Heart Hospital to the Ozark campus the week of Sept. 24-28, 2018.
Cardiac and vascular specialists will perform Keep the Beat outreach screenings for $79 per person. This screening is not covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance.
Payment may be made at the time of the screening. The Arkansas Heart Hospital will accept cash, check, credit or FSA cards.

- Carotid Artery Screening: Tests for blockages and atherosclerosis in the arteries, which can cause a stroke.
- Peripheral Vascular Screening: Checks for poor circulation and atherosclerosis in the arteries of the legs, which may also indicate an increased risk of heart attack or stroke.
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening: Left undetected, aortic aneurysms can rupture and have a very low survival rate.
