Wilderness photographer Tim Ernst will present a program entitled “Ten Years of Wilderness Photography from the Natural State” on Thursday, Dec. 13, on the campus of Arkansas Tech University.
The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville. Refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the ATU Department of Parks, Recreation and Hospitality Administration, TAKAHIK River Valley Hikers and Monfee Medical Clinic.
Ernst’s photographs have been featured in hundreds of national, regional and local publications, including National Geographic, Audubon, Backpacker, Outside, Outdoor Photographer, American Hiker, Arkansas Times and the New York Times.
Eighteen collections of Ernst’s photographs have been published as coffee table books. His latest “Arkansas Beauty,” was published in 2017. He has also published several hiking guidebooks, nature and waterfall guidebooks, yearly calendars and DVDs.
Books, calendars and photo prints will be available before and after the Dec. 13 program at special sale prices.
