Arkansas Tech University’s women’s golf team finished tied for 10th at the 2019 NCAA Division II Championships, which were contested at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., May 14-16.
The Golden Suns completed the 54-hole stroke play portion of the event with a team total of 960.
Jacqueline Klemm (27th, 79-72-85-236), Pia Nunbhakdi (T-32nd, 74-82-82-238), Peerada Piddon (T-36th, 87-75-77-239), Sydney Staton (T-62nd, 81-81-85-247) and Allie Weiner (93rd, 88-95-94-277) represented Arkansas Tech in the event.
It was the fifth appearance in the NCAA Division II Championships in the last six years for head coach Amy Anderson and the Golden Suns.
Arkansas Tech concluded its 2018-19 women’s golf season with three team tournament titles, including its fifth consecutive Great American Conference championship.
