Preparations for the fall 2019 semester at Arkansas Tech University include a new faculty orientation hosted by the ATU Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and the ATU Division of Academic Affairs.
New faculty at ATU for the fall 2019 semester, as reported by the ATU Division of Academic Affairs, include:

- Frank Crayton, instructor of health and physical education
- Dr. Lynnette Gilbert, assistant professor of art education
- Brock Hime, instructor of health and physical education
- Misaki Kaku, visiting assistant professor of nursing
- Dr. Mehmet Kelestemur, assistant professor of mechanical engineering
- Shelley Koone, visiting instructor of mathematics
- Dr. Aditya Limaye, assistant professor of finance
- Dr. Syed Imran Ali Meerza, assistant professor of agriculture business
- Dr. William Morelan, assistant professor of educational leadership

Dr. Robin Lasey, associate professor of chemistry, serves as director of the ATU CETL. Dr. Hanna Norton, professor of journalism, is the center’s assistant director.
They were joined in planning the new faculty orientation by a committee that includes Dr. Douglas Barron, assistant professor of biology; Jesse Ring, assistant professor of art; Dr. Asim Shrestha, assistant professor of computer and information science; Dr. Michael Wang, assistant professor of English; Dr. Kelly Jones, assistant professor of history; and Karen Riddell, coordinator of academic support services.
