Arkansas Tech University students will compete and demonstrate their spirit during Battle of the Halls Oct. 16-17 at Hindsman Tower.
Competition will last from 6-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and Thursday, Oct. 17. Events on Oct. 16 will include Baggo, a sponge race and archery tag. The battle will conclude the following evening with tug-of-war, an egg race and capture the flag.
Each residence hall must have a minimum of 10 team members in order to compete. Each residence hall has been assigned a color for Battle of the Halls, and students are encouraged to dress in the color assigned to their hall:
- Baswell Residence Hall/Stadium Suites: Purple
- Brown Residence Hall: Pink
- Jones Residence Hall: Red
- M Street Residence Hall: Gray
- Nutt Residence Hall: Green
- Paine Residence Hall: Orange
- Turner Residence Hall: White
- University Commons/Vista Place Apartments: Blue
- Wilson Residence Hall/Tucker Residence Hall: Yellow
