In the event of winter weather conditions, Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus utilizes a severe weather crisis team that makes decisions about weather-related closings. The crisis team will determine whether the campus will close or if classes are canceled. If conditions warrant, the Ozark Campus will announce campus closed, classes canceled, or a delayed start. If at all possible any announcement of closure, classes canceled, or a delayed start will occur before 6:30 a.m.
The outlying areas sometimes experience inclement weather (snow, ice, etc.). If the campus remains open and outlying areas are affected; faculty, staff and students are always advised to use their judgment in determining if the roads are safe to travel. Remember, your safety is our utmost concern!
