The Arkansas Tech University Department of Public Safety (DPS) will host a six-week self-defense course that is open to ATU faculty, staff and students during the spring 2020 semester.
The first meeting of the class will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the ATU DPS office, 716 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville. No advance registration is necessary.
Participants will learn basic self-defense techniques designed to improve the chances of surviving a violent encounter.
