There is a new resource for Arkansas Tech University students who will be participating in online and/or hybrid classes during the fall 2020 semester.
The ATU Division of Academic Affairs has developed a one-page, quick start guide for utilizing Blackboard that is designed to facilitate a rapid transition to learning in a virtual environment.
“Appropriate for sharing with all ATU students, this one-page guide provides students with the necessary information to facilitate as successful start to the fall term,” said Dr. Jeff Aulgur, ATU interim associate vice president for academic affairs.
Blackboard is online software that ATU faculty members utilize to deliver course content.
The newly-published quick start guide teaches ATU students how to log in to Blackboard, access course announcements, submit assignments, view grades and participate in virtual classes or meetings.
There is also information about the student resource module, which is available to every ATU student participating in online or hybrid learning.
