The Arkansas Tech University Office of Study Abroad and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Office of International Affairs will present a lecture by Dr. David Blanks, head of the ATU Department of History and Political Science and professor of history, on Thursday, Feb. 18.
The presentation, entitled “The Arab Spring and the Egyptian Revolution (2011-2015): An Eyewitness Account,” will begin at 3 p.m. (Central Standard Time) and will be accessible at http://bit.ly/3jCrYjJ.
Blanks’ lecture is part of the Explore Your World lecture series offered by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Office of International Affairs.
A member of the ATU faculty since 2015, Blanks holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Michigan State University. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Ohio State University.
