Arkansas Tech University staff member Felisha Weaver has been elected to a four-year term on the University and College Designers Association (UCDA) Board of Directors.
Founded in 1970, UCDA serves more than 1,000 members in the United States and Canada. According to the organization’s positioning statement, UCDA “inspires designers working in academia in North America and around the world by delivering relevant programming and benefits in a personal and thoughtful way.”
Weaver serves as director of publications and creative services in University Marketing and Communication (MARCOMM) at ATU. She has worked in marketing and communication at ATU for 11 years.
A graduate of Arkansas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, Weaver is pursuing a Master of Science degree in student affairs administration from her alma mater. She is a member of Leadership Tech cohort four.
Weaver has contributed to UCDA as a member of the magazine advisory board and committees on mentorship and membership engagement. She has served as a conference volunteer at five UCDA events, was co-chair for UCDA’s 50th anniversary conference in 2020 and is chair of the organization’s 2021 conference.
