The Arkansas Tech University Division of Student Affairs will help the ATU community prepare for spring break with a series of events on Wednesday, March 17, and Thursday, March 18.

Safe Spring Break is an informational session designed to provide Arkansas Tech students with resources and information that can help them maintain their wellness while relaxing during the one-week respite from class. The event will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Rotunda.

Over at Hindsman Tower, students are invited to participate in a drunk goggle golf cart obstacle course from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 17. This event is designed to provide ATU students with an interactive lesson in the dangers of drinking and driving.

The series will conclude on Thursday, March 18, with a virtual presentation entitled “Sex, Drugs and Alcohol: A Consent Conversation.” Stacy Galbo, ATU deputy Title IX coordinator for educational outreach and training, will lead the conversation beginning at 4 p.m. at https://ATU.Webex.com/meet/Sgalbo2.

Spring break 2021 at Arkansas Tech is scheduled for the week of March 22-26.
